​Now, why Sandy Suitcase?

 

Glad you asked! For years I travelled among the beaches of Rye, NH, Cape May, NJ, Annapolis, MD, sometimes the Carolinas, so when I needed a name for my Etsy shop that opened in 2012...sandy suitcase.

 

Now, in 2026, I've opened a space to integrate interest in literature and nature with a studio for painting, and so, a room of my own : ). I look forward to sharing my cozy, eclectic spot for small gatherings, including the Sandy Suitcase Classics Book Club.
