How I Work

Generally I work in oil paint depicting beach scenes, referencing personal photos and sketches, then laying a foundation with umber wash before painting in color.

I also love pen and ink, and just drawing my heart out with a good, old-fashioned pencil! Trees, wildflowers, and flights-of-fancy also find their way onto the sketchpad and canvas.
